This policy describes how Crucible Software LLC (“Crucible,” “we,” “us”) handles data in connection with our internal time-tracking and invoicing integration (the “App”), which connects to QuickBooks Online to create draft invoices for our consulting engagements.
The App is operated solely by Crucible Software LLC to bill our own consulting clients. It is not distributed to third parties and does not create accounts for, or collect data from, members of the public.
With your authorization via Intuit’s OAuth 2.0, the App accesses your QuickBooks Online company’s accounting data — specifically customers, service items, and invoices — for the sole purpose of reading reference records and creating draft invoices. The App does not access banking credentials, payroll, or personal financial account numbers.
Accounting data is used only to look up the relevant customer and service item and to create draft (unsent) invoices in your QuickBooks Online company. Invoices are never sent automatically; sending is always a manual action taken by an authorized operator inside QuickBooks.
The App runs locally on Crucible’s own computer. OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored locally in a file readable only by the operating-system user account, and are never transmitted to any third party other than Intuit. We do not operate a server that stores your QuickBooks data.
We do not sell, rent, or share QuickBooks data with any third party. Data is exchanged only between the local App and Intuit’s QuickBooks Online API.
Tokens are retained locally only as long as needed to operate the integration and can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online (Apps → Manage). Revoking access immediately ends the App’s ability to read or write data.
